Israel bombs Hezbollah arms factories

Israel bombed several Hezbollah arms factories as it targeted the terror group’s south Beirut stronghold in an overnight barrage.

At least six buildings were levelled in 17 Israeli strikes, according to Lebanese state media, who described it as one of the “most violent” bombardments since the conflict with Hezbollah escalated last month.

In the southern suburbs, footage revealed a string of massive explosions followed by smaller ones. According to the Israeli military, Hezbollah had set up shop “under and inside civilian buildings in the heart of populated areas” at the locations it hit.

The Lebanese health ministry reported that one person was murdered and five others, including a toddler, were injured.

According to the station, one of the strikes targeted the pro-Iranian broadcaster Al Mayadeen’s office, which has been vacant since the crisis began.
