During a vulgar speech, Trump obsesses about Arnold Palmer, calling him “all man” while taking showers.

After a rambling start, Donald Trump turned his focus to his opponent and insulted Vice President Kamala Harris with foul language.

He claimed that she was “weak” and “pathetic,” and vowed to defeat her in the upcoming election.

LATROBE, PA. – Here in what is likely the most pivotal swing state, seventeen days before the election, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump avoided discussing politics for the first ten minutes of his speech.

Rather, he gave a lengthy homage to the late golfer Arnold Palmer, who was born here and whose name is associated with the airport where Trump was speaking. Trump described how other athletes responded to seeing Palmer in the showers in his soliloquy.

“All man was Arnold Palmer.” And I love ladies, so I say that with all due respect. However, this individual was strictly masculine. He was a tough, robust man. When he took showers with the other professionals, they came out and said, “Oh my God, that’s unbelievable,” but I wouldn’t say it,” Trump stated.

“I just had to say it,” Trump added.

The Palmer aside lasted around ten minutes, which is exactly the same length as Vice President Kamala Harris’s whole speech at a Detroit get-out-the-vote event earlier on Saturday. Trump’s address was full of asides, sudden shifts in topic, and insulting and derogatory remarks.

What Donald Trump's 34 convictions mean for the presidential election

The speech lasted over an hour.

Trump has complained about his faster campaign schedule, his prepared scripts, and his advisers’ insistence that he focus on themes like immigration and the economy. Trump spoke freely about a wide range of unrelated topics on Saturday, but he had other topics in mind.

In order to commend Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.) and talk about the color of billionaire donor and surrogate Elon Musk’s MAGA hat, he cut off his own speech regarding the border. He also blasted Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and paid tribute to the late great center fielder Willie Mays, who passed away in June. He invented a tale about Jose Rodriguez, a fictional cartel leader, calling the U.S. government about smuggling people across the border using a phone app.

Trump became obscene when he finally turned his attention to his rival in the presidential contest.

To applause, he declared, “You’re a shit vice president.” The obscenity was echoed by shouts from several members of the crowd.

Shortly after, Trump questioned the audience about his aircraft, asking, “How did the flyover look? Good?

One woman in the audience shouted, “She’s an f—ing liar!” as Trump referred to Harris as a “radical left Marxist.”

Trump said he got a letter from religious leader Franklin Graham urging him to avoid using profanity, and he admitted the indiscretion.

He remarked, “You can’t put the same emphasis.” “So I broke my rule tonight.”

Trump once quipped, “Everything they touch turns to —” in reference to the Biden administration.

“S—!” retorted the audience.

Trump’s speech, which lasted more than an hour, was often rambling. He looked at the television showing his live address and paused while ranting about Harris taking President Joe Biden’s place on the Democratic ticket, remarking on his hair. He said, “Pardon me, I need to recomb my hair. Would you mind?” He said, referring to Pennsylvania U.S. Senate candidate David McCormick, “I’m going to recomb my hair, Mr. Future Senator.”

Trump began the week by performing music during a 39-minute town hall rather than giving a speech. In recent appearances and on social media, he has made sudden shifts in subject matter. In Latrobe, he likened the development of the paper clip to his suggested tax deductions.

On Saturday, Harris questioned Trump’s consistency.

In Georgia, she remarked, “Have you noticed he tends to go off script and ramble?” And typically, he is incapable of completing an idea. He has also dubbed it “the weave.” However, I believe we shall refer to it as nonsense here.

Trump’s promises to enact “massive tariffs” and his demonization of undocumented immigrants, wrongly depicting them as primarily criminals from “insane asylums and mental institutions,” were among the other well-known themes that were discussed at the gathering.

He used divisive language to criticize outsiders, calling immigration a “invasion” and declaring that he would “liberate” the nation. He reiterated his promise to begin a large-scale, militarized deportation campaign based on a program from the 1950s, and he falsified Immigration and Customs Enforcement data to assert that thousands are “on the loose.”

When Trump made a positive comment about the look of his enlarged security detail, he briefly brought up Palmer again.

“Look, as far as you can see, people. These days, they provide you with a little more security. I’ve never seen so many machine guns. Take a look at these guys,” he said.

The audience cheered, “USA!”

“They have Arnold Palmer’s appearance. They resemble Arnold. He remarked, “You can’t look better than Arnold.”
